Why do we dance in church?

A lot of people are opposed to Dance because of what the world has done with the art of Dancing. Dance belongs to the Lord and it is being restored back into the Body of Christ. The Lord is the only one who turns our despair into dancing. (Psalm 30:11) He is the only one who as Jeremiah prophesied, calls us to take up our tambourines and “go forth in dance of the merrymakers”. (Jeremiah 31:4) The call to Praise Dance requires a relationship with God and the absolute necessary ingredient for being a Praise Dancer is the Holy Spirit . Your temple must be totally surrendered to God in order for the dance to bring praises unto God.

What Should Happen When We Dance?

Dancing should lead people into Praise & Worship. Our Dance should bring healing, lifted sprits, and liberation to the Lord and to the people who view us. Our Dance garments should agree and represent the Word of God that we serve and testify to His greatness.

The Praise Dance Ministry members do not come to church to show off, but they are in service to Praise & Worship our Savior The Lord Jesus Christ.
